Finding a jig for Tyrolia Adrenalin binding

Hey guys, looking for some advice for getting my new bindings mounted(Tyrolia Adrenalins). I've got new skis and bindings this year, but my issue is no local shops have the jig to mount them. I have another friend in the same situation with the same binding. Since we are both DIY guys, we're ready to cough up $100 to buy a jig, but I can't find one for sale anywhere. Given, beyond google I'm not quite sure where to look(found one but out of stock). There isn't any info I could find regarding cross compatibility with other models but that could be because its a but of a unique AT system. They also come with a great clear template, but seeing as it's my first time and there is a lot to line up for the AT functionality, I would love the reassurance of the jig. So essentially my questions are:

Does anyone know where to get a Tyrolia Adrenalin jig?
If not, is there any cross compatibility with another jig?
If not, is the template and a drill press a decent option?
Any tips or hints? Seems like wood glue is a must.

Yeah this one is tough man, my shop doesn’t mount them because A. We don’t have the jig and B. They’re honestly a pain in the ass to deal with. There’s a lot of unnecessary screws and shit so no one in my area (near UNH) carries a jig for it. Best advice is to call around your area and ask if the shop carries one. Cheers!

Using a paper template isn't that hard and a clear template is even easier if you have a good attention to detail. Measure twice cut once. Use the proper drill bit. Deburr your holes carefully and use wood glue.

Thanks for the replies! I'm in CT so if your shop in NH doesn't even have one, I'm just about screwed.

I'm slowly coming to terms with the reality that I'm going to have to mount my own skis. The skis are enforcers which have metal layers. The screws seem to be standard and the depths are called out on the template. My plan is to purchase: 4.1 ski drill bit, the self centering drill guide block from Binding Freedom, a tap, and wood glue.

Does this seem right to you guys?

I mean, if you buy all that stuff you are gonna be 100% fine. If you don't, you'll still probably be fine. Mount a 2x4 first, go through all the steps, and make sure everything works. If it does, party on, you're good to go. If it doesn't try again, until you get a clean 2x4 mount.

I'm not recomending that anyone be cavalier with mounting skis, but it's a lot simpler than most folks think. I've had to do some weird mounts, including using a homemade paper template that I traced off of an old ski, using no template (in the parking lot of the dump in Cooke City) and I've only messed up one mount (because I was an idiot and drilled through the ski, easy fix though and it's still going strong.

If you've got the right bit and a transparent template, you're golden, anything past that, and you're gonna probably end up doing a better job than most shops.

i had adrenalins mounted no issue at a little ski shop outside of boston a few years ago... i didn't even know the jig was irregular or rare or whatever

i could ask them about that jig if you'd like, and maybe they'll have some input...?

also have you looked on TGR? i think they're big on mounting their own bindings. idk much about mounting, i don't get new skis often enough to get involved

Luckily any paper template for that binding that is to scale will be easy to mount, since there's no sizing to your boot, it's either small or large.

Thanks for the offer @SofaKingSick but I don't want to be a hassle. I just pulled the trigger and ordered the tools. After reading the TGR forums kinda feel like I have to to validate my masculinity, LOL. I'm going to follow @cydwhit advice and mount a 2x4 until I'm confident. I'll post my results and any lessons learned soon.

haha i'm not surprised to hear that's how TGR responded. great idea to practice on a 2x4
