Anyone seen these bionic knees?

Saw an add for these on insta and they had me wondering if they could be used for skiing. Most likely a waste of money.

They have peaked my interest tho.

Who knows, these could be the difference between skiing away and taking your pivots up the pooper.

That to. Realistically they are probably a waste of time and money. On paper tho, they seem like they could do something.

It isnt some new idea, im sure they have been around for a while. If someone tried them and they were useful we would know about it.

I've seen better... people claim the motocross knee braces work super well. I just don't see anything out performing a custom don joy knee brace.

These arent braces to prevent acl tears. They have springs in the back that resist the motion of squatting and push back.

I’d you don’t have an unstable knee, braces that limit mobility should be used with caution. The same forces still occur with or without the brace. Limiting movement at the knee means increased movements and force above (hip) and below (ankle).

Just my two cense.

Had to assume when thinking brace... In that case I second the leg day comment. Seems dumb if it's not going to help with ACL tears.
