Tips on coming off of any down rail forwards? /how

i can manage to come off of most rails forwards if i choose too, just feels kinda jank sometimes and i’m never able to really land clean.

You have to lock your skis on the rail to bring your momentum back. If you put pressure on the side of the rail with the tails of your downhill ski it should bring you back to forward. Any 'how to slide rails' video will do a much better job of explaining it.

by locking do you mean like scissoring on the rail?

Yeah. You don't necessarily need to do it to come to forward, but it might make it easier/cleaner and is a good start to doing spins off.

Yeah, just make sure you’re good and locked on, and then you can just square your chest back up looking forward and/or drop your front heel a little/dip your back toe a little bit (scissoring)

Try doing lip on to forward. When doing lip on I tend to land very perpendicular to the rail which helps me balance and lock in so I can land forward.

^^for scissoring, you need to have the arches of your feet on the rail, which im guessing isnt the case
make sure you look at the end of the rail all the way, and if your head is facing in that direction, you only need to pop up off the rail and your body will come around
