I managed to fall today doing a unnaty 180 on a small kicker made out of a metal field trashcan. the thing was like gave you like 5 feet of air and about 7 foot distance when you got a solid push, and i managed to bail. i dont even know how, i just like never started spinning so i landed 90 and died. im gonna go cry now.

Lol... thats like the time when i did a 180 off the smallest jump at panorama (which is like a 3 foot table with a 2 foot kicker) and i cought an edge. Pathetic. I think we should all share our most embarassing ski moments with this thread.

Yes, lets.

best part of my story, was that we only have about 3 inches of snow right now and i went skiing. seriously i couldnt turn because my edges caught into the grass when i did. when i bailed there was mud all over my shit.

My best skiing moment is at sunshine, I'd just done an unnatural 360 safety and it looked super good, I ski to a stop down at the bottom catch an edge, eject from my ski and fall face first into the park fence

that reminds me of another time:

my like second time skiing ever (i was like 10) i decided to cut over to the blue square cuz i thought i was all tough and shit. so im cutting across, hit a rut, and turn into the snow fence, the orange fences with the holes in them. of course both skis go into the fence, and it takes me a good 5 minutes to get out of the fence. i was retarted back then

I was on this box which happened to be like 2 feet wide. Sounds easy. I fell off the side. I don't know how it happened, it just did. I suck. I almost puked cause I sucked so bad

The replies about snowfences make me remember another time. I saw a snowfence, it was only like 2 inches off the ground due to snow build up. I was like 'what the hell i'll just ski over it and land the 2 foot drop into the nice powder. Anway my tips caught and i got stuck and it took me like 2 minutes to get out, while in open view of the chairlift. It was so goddamn sad.

one time I went to go switch onto a rail and when a turned to switch I got a rut in the snow and fell over and proceded to slide up the lip to the rail

i skied right into a lift pole once like 6 years ago. there was a little bump/jump thing right next the pole and i was haulin ass and mangaed to catch an edge which then threw me straight into the pole.

once at louise I ate shit off like a 10 foot table right under the chair. was hitting it all day, you needed lots of speed cause it was sticky snow and the wind pushed you back. then once it wasn't sticky OR windy. i had waaaaay too much speed, overshot the landing, landed backseat and smacked my back and head down. both skis came off, poles, helmet, goggles, etc. people yelled off the chair. very embarrassing but all i got was a bit of whiplash.
