Headed out to Revelstoke in a few weeks and wanted to pick up some beefier sticks for the trip. I love my Bdogs but they're pretty worn out. The evo sale is really tempting and I can't decide between these two skis. Can anyone speak from experience about either the 2.0's or the ARV 106ti? Im 6"2' 160lbs, and ski a decent amount of rails on the east coast, which makes me want to go the faction route because they're symmetrical and a little skinnier, but I'm worried about their durability. I also want to make sure that I would still be able to flex the ARVs because they're a little stiffer.
It depends on how much park vs all mountain you are doing. If you are doing more park the candides will be better. If you are doing more all mountain then the 106ti will be better.
Yeah these skis aren’t comparable, if you were talking CT 2.0 vs the regular ARV 106, you couldn’t go wrong with either. The CT 2.0 is really not as soft as everyone thinks it is, I would go the 184 or 188 route and it’s actually got good backbone
