Armada B-Dogs vs EDOLLOs

what do you guys think edollos V.S. Bdogs? Also, do you guys think the 180 would work fine for me for either if i'm 5'7"

I am on Vishnu wet 177s, and the length feels fine

The Bdogs and Edollos both have way less rocker than the Wets so they will feel alot longer.

Edollos and bdogs measure short by like 2-3cms where I think wets measure true

yeah if you look at the roof box review for the edollo/b-dogs, the actual length is about 2-3 cm shorter than the length stated by armada

B dawgs are softer and lighter. If you liked the wets I think b dogs would be a better option.

Would be helpful knowing what type of style you are after. I'm the same height as you and just put my first day on the Bdog's and haven't been this psyched in a long time. I wanted a short turn radius with the softest flex possible for my style with less rocker compared to my last pair (ON3P).

i'm just a Midwestern park skier on a pretty small hill in Wisconsin, i'm used to rockered vishnu's in 177 but i'm just trying to complete my quiver with some cambered skis.

I can't speak on the Edollos or Wets but I can draw a comparison to heavily rockered skis. The Bdogs definitely felt more connected and I had a good time carving hard turns whenever I wanted. Thought I might miss the rockered feel but the Bdogs didn't disappoint and skied loose when I wanted it to. I'm definitely enjoying the more cambered approach here for my needs (east). The flex is spot on for me and prefer the spring back with nose butters. These have already become my go to for the season.

Have you tried the b-dogs outside of the park yet? I’ve got a smooth buttery style but often like to leave the park when at bigger mtns to charge and Jib around and maybe score some pow.

Trying to get as much feedback before I pull the trigger.. I’m heading to ParkCity Tuesday so I Wanna try and get a 1ski quiver before then.

In that case I would buy edollos. They are wider and a bit stiffer.

I currently own 164 Edollos and I'm 5' 8". The edollo will be stiffer underfoot and in the tail than the B-Dogs softer overall. Coming from the wets you will notice that the Dollo or BDog will feel slower on swaps due to the wider underfoot. However that may not be a bad thing because a wider ski will sometimes feel easier to balance on a rail. Overall Edollo will be better on jumps due to the stability but the BDog may be better for Jibbing.

I've only used them all mountain and they killed it. I have a similar style as you self described. They had great stability at speed and didn't chatter which surprised me so there's no speed limit on them. Keep in mind I was only speeding on groomed runs so I can't speak on chop or variable terrain. I really can't say enough positive things about these.
