If you wanna ski pow, don't become a pro park skier.

Watching the snowboarders on the slope course right now and the judges are drunk. Hopefully speed is decent for the skiers... or at least predictable wind.

This may be a dumb question, but why on three teams in the team challenge? I’m sure it ultimately comes down to who is willing to pay the money to put their riders in it. I’m just a greedy bastard and want more.

Pretty sure they don't pay to be in the team challenge but it's mainly because it's hard for teams to field 6 athletes (3 guys, 3 girls) to come compete. I mean, Atomic had to recruit someone else because they didn't have a female pipe rider. Faction doesn't have a pipe rider which is why Antti was there, although I was hyped to watch his runs because he's such a g.

Just finished watching snerberd slope. Judges were on fucking crack. Cool rail setup, don't reward people for killing it on rails, pretend to care about rails making rando deductions on other people allegedly for rails.

Shit was all over, and some of the camera angles were whack as fuck.

Again I like the course though

I am genuinely confused who these judges are. Every Dew Tour and X Games I watch I grow more skeptical of their understanding of freeskiing in my opinion.
I feel so bad for Antoine he got robbed at X games too.

we need bigger jumps in slopestyle events so ppl can separate themselves from the field.

Yeah everyone there can do quick dub 14s and 16s. Bigger jumps will let them do better grabs with more style or bigger tricks. The jumps are all the same and the rails are the only place ppl stand out but the judging seemed to overlook the rail section too much

Lol this comment reminded me of when a bunch of the pipe skiiers (Torin and Blunck, iirc) and snowboarders (Danny Davis) skipped the Sochi opening ceremonies to ride the crazy storm that had just blown thru Japan.

I thought that was the most badass thing ever.
