I do it all the time, especically if im seconds away from hitting a rail and a wanna slow down its easier because my shoulders are already sqaured then

i'm hardly kidding, any time i see someone pizza for even an instant i judge them

same with comp skiers who will throw down some insane trick and then look like a goof coming to a stop at the bottom. i just don't get it

sometimes on sketchy traverses i throw in a pizza because actually turning could mean going off a cliff..

Sometimes you just gotta do the pizza down a green run. Link me back to the basics. Or maybe it was that last chairlift beer that put me over being able to actually ski.

Its not that I am lazy, sometimes that is the only way to get stopped. For instance, the lift line, granted I do more falling down in the lift line than anybody but there are times you cant turn in line to stop so pizza is one of your options next to using your poles. Im not afraid to throw down a little pizza either to get my speed in check coming up to a rail or a box. Hate all you want but pizza is part of life.

Only in lift lines, sometimes they're a little steep and I don't want to stand there digging poles in to keep myself from sliding onto the tails of others skis.

dude this happens to me so much skiing on the east coast

Me: "Oh look a path going into the trees, I bet it leads to a nicely cleared glade run!"

Skis 20 feet

Path is now a tiny tree tunnel that you have to be 4 feet tall to get through, I spend 2 minutes bushwhacking to get out

Lift lines, rail in runs, narrow traverses, first attempt going off a cliff when you don’t necessarily want to full send, etc.

pizza serves purpose.
