Really want these. Looking for something that can handle in the trees without compromising in the park, but I don't know if they're realistic/the best option for an east coaster who's lucky to ski anything fresh let alone deep. Anyone riding them? Would it be dumb to mount them forward of recommended?
They don't float worth shit mounted forward of the line. I have the 188's and I don't ski them very often. There is a ton of taper in the tip and tail. They work very well for smearing pow turns, they are okay in chopped up snow. Not too bad on groomers. Definitely on the damp and medium / soft side. I'll probably remount mine forward for park once my Libtecs shit the bed, if they do. I went back to recommended because they were so bad in pow mounted forward.
