So 2 years ago one of my edges cracked and got pushed under the base. I found a thread here on how to fix it and that’s what I did. Basically I just cut out a shape of the base around the damage, pulled the edge back, and then jb welded the base piece back. It was all good for the past 2 seasons but the base piece started coming out and now I reluctantly had to take it fully off and am left with the hole in my picture.
Any ideas on how to fill this? I was thinking spread a thin layer of some 5 minute epoxy under the edge and then all over the area of the hole. Then before it cures melt ptex onto it so it’s flush with the base. Shave it down and maybe have it good as new?
Also shoutout to nordica for making some pretty damn durable skis. This is my fourth season of pretty regular park use on these soul riders and besides having to repair some aggressive delam near the heel pieces, they are still going strong.
