I don't really understand how you can be against "european socialism" i.e what countried like Sweden, France, Germany, etc. have implemented unless you are in the top 1%. From a pure cost/benefit standpoint it makes zero sense to be against it for 99% of americans.
I feel like a lot of americans don't understand that they'd be saving a fuckton of money with a system like that. For example in the US say you get taxed 20%, that's cool but then you don't get anything back except for common infrastructure, roads and shit like that.
Over there you may get taxed an extra 10% but then in addition to the common infrastructure shit, you also get free healthcare, retirement, generous unemployement, free tuition, and a bunch of other social benefits while the US has virtually none. You can bet that 99% of americans over the course of their lifetime will spend way more than 10% of their income on healthcare, education, retirement savings, etc. that's not even counting other social benefits like familiy allowances and stuff.
I mean leaving all ideology aside, that's just facts, the average american would be better off financially for sure.

Meh. I think you can have a decent safety net without putting too much drag on the economy. You need the free market to drive efficiency to the max though. Trump takes alot of 3 pointers and perhaps misses most of them, but if you think the typical avg or even above avg intelligence person would have as much success as trump over the long term if they simply took as many shots as trump did youre an idiot.
trump has had alot of hits, and he definitely has a very high nonverbal iq. The left hates trump partly because they want everyone to believe that verbal iq is the only part of the iq measure that matters so they can justify paying people with notoriously high verbal iq and notoriously low nonverbal iq (ie. women and lawyers) much more than they are willing to pay nonverbal geniuses like engineers (typical relatively intelligent goyim men).
Unfortunately business failure does not equate to political failure. That's not to say Trump hasn't had his share of political failures, of course. But for the sheer amount of ventures he's tried, it would be wild to assume that he hasn't had his share of failures.

You forgot the whole millions of dollars in loans and inheritance qualifier. I would think a more accurate comparison would be free throws, not 3 pointers.

While I do agree that persistence is a good thing and a key part of success, a significant portion of his failures haven't been bad business choices or "Shooting his shot". They have been scams that hurt people. I get that it's part of the game, but I wouldn't say that trump is an honest business man who had some failures but was still successful. There are aspects of his success that are significantly more shady than a large portion of people in his position.

Even Bill Gates, who was born upper class and did not receive millions of dollars in loans or assistance to my knowledge is now worth 57 times more than Trump and is one of the worlds greatest philanthropists.
So if you want to compare trump to a normal person, then you should probably also compare him to his fellow billionaire businessmen, and when you do that he just looks like a scrub.

I might very well be, yet you were the one who made the invalid comparison by comparing normal people who never got a loan and didn't start with money to a man who did get a loan and did start with money. If you actually wanted to draw a comparison, those billionaires would be who you should compare trump against. By your logic bezos and bill gates are a magnitude greater than trump will ever be, they made much more with much less. By your logic, not mine, trump is just small fry who only made 2 billion instead of 100. For the record, I don't like either of those guys. I don't have anything in common with them.
