Replying to Do you think michael k williams (omar from the wire) slashed his own face in order to land acting roles?

I think he did it himself in order to land an acting role. The scar conveniently goes between his eyes and runs all the way down his face. I seriously doubt one fast swipe with a blade would be lucky enough to miss his eyes and go as far as the scar goes. What do you think...
