Do you think michael k williams (omar from the wire) slashed his own face in order to land acting roles?

I think he did it himself in order to land an acting role. The scar conveniently goes between his eyes and runs all the way down his face. I seriously doubt one fast swipe with a blade would be lucky enough to miss his eyes and go as far as the scar goes. What do you think...

He was auditioning for the part of Kylo Ren but the studio said it wouldn't be appropriate for a black man to wear white face so they went in a different direction.

I quess it was a razor blade. You can kinda see the path of the blade and imagine how it hit his face sort of twisting at the end.

but didn't "the wire" use a lot of local hood cats for the actors? could explain this.

sidenote. "The Wire" may be the greatest series of all time. possibly better than Sopranos

The wire still holds up. The sopranos is boring as fuck. Try rewatching it. It's painful.

The wire was fantastic, but i think breaking bad was more of a masterpiece.



the wire would have been better if it made the dealers more of the protagonists and the cops more the antagonists.

I have watched Soprano's beginning to end multiple times. and always love it and find something new.
