Twinjibber77I had a car with a lock lug, which I took to a shop because it needed immediate service. Turned out the last shop had yanked my key and claimed they didn't have it (the downside of letting other people work on your whip). This new shop asked if I cared about the lock lugs anymore, which I did not, and those magnificent bastards then welded regular lugs onto the locks and took them off.
That's quality service and ingenuity.
Also, proper torquing in your case?
HypeBeastLooking for another thread but wanted to say WD-40 works wonders for seized lug nuts. Had 2 last week and sprayed with wd40 and was able to get off within 30min or so

skiermanOh look, the pretend "pull yourself up" republican douche doesn't even know how to change a flat tire.
SuspiciousFishAlso PSA: Just because those Auto-Zone lug nuts seem to fit your car, doesnt mean they will actually hold your wheels on:

oldmanskiWipe some anti seize on the threads every time you have the wheels off, it makes a world of difference. Depending on the manufacturer you may have to replace the whole hub, or you maybe be able to press the broken piece out of the original hub and press a new one in. Quite a common thing.

BiffbarfI think he put the wheels on but the lugnuts were only finger tight is the story.
