BigPurpleSkiSuitAre you trying to win them in the comp
friesAlright buddy let me educate you.
I got these blades at the beginning of the season and let me tell you, they have been quite the adventure.
First warning is that you can definitely get a pair of some ski blades much cheaper just about anywhere else. But if you want twin tips, if you want to be on team skibladez, and most importantly if you want to support JLev, they're right for you.
The bindings are easily adjustable so you can trade them off with your friends, which is sick. I've never used ski blades before this season and it's just a lot of fun. Everything you do has a degree of chaos and humor, which is awesome. Sometimes I just spend a day being the laughing stock of the chairlift, it's great.
My biggest adventure has been taking them onto all mountain. I've taken them down double blacks at bridger and lived to tell the story. I've even lapped some pow runs with friends on them, having no issue. The form is just a little different if you're in deeper snow, you kind of have to ride backseat. I've made the mistake of hitting jumps into powder and not landing backseat... both times the tips dug in and I flew forward onto my chest. Both of them ended up being textbook scorpions. Funny shit.
Also thought I'd mention that backies are super fun on them. I was scared but just sent it and it was incredible. Feels so natural without the extra swing weight of skis.
Only gapers are going to make fun of you for the blades. Anyone who knows what's up is going to see you and hype you up and laugh (in a good way)
Anyways here's my fire 19 second season edit. Jskis if you're reading this, feel free to send me a free pair of skis for promoting your bladez. Ok i gotta do homework now. enjoy.
