DrailThe people saying Whitewater are out to lunch. Within the resort boundary there is little to no cliff options (threre's Sproulers - but the landing is kinda shit.) Red, Whistler, and Kicking Horse are where the cliffs are at.
Red doesn't get the snow that others get.
Whistler is very busy and has way too many hungry skiers.
Kicking Horse is all alpine and can be lacking when the alpine has no visibility.
Revy has very short fall line where it counts with long lap times.
If you're in it for the long haul, I'd say Red. If it's a short vacation I'd say Revy. If you're rich I'd say Whistler. If you have a few weeks but not a whole season I'd say Kicking Horse. Reality is, you'll have a great time at any of them, but they all have their weak points.
clareachapmanThank you so much for this! We decided to head to Kicking Horse so we'll hopefully get some good visibility and sick skiing! We went to Revy last year and LOVED it but wanted to switch it up this time.
