Replying to Looking for friends @ Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows/South Lake Tahoe

Hey everybody,

I will be traveling solo to South Lake Tahoe to ski at least four days between Squaw/Alpine Meadows. I fly into Reno on Feb 10th. I had originally planned on traveling with a friend, but they got really sick and had to pull the plug. I am a strong intermediate skier from Minnesota. I am looking to progress my skiing in the mountains. This season I have been to Mount Bohemia in MI, and I will be flying to Tahoe after 5 days at Whiteface with other friends. I want my season to culminate with some big shredding out West, and I know that riding alone will limit what terrain I feel safe riding, so linking up with people would be most ideal. I will have a rental car, and am staying at a hostel in South Lake Tahoe. I would consider myself an aspirational freerider, and want to ride off piste as much as possible.
