Nickleback became far too cool to hate. It's weird because they have an absurd amount of view on youtube, still play on some radio stations, and are heading out on a huge tour with STP.
I can't stand any nickleback songs other than the one referenced in the OP, but they aren't any worse than a lot of the bands. Idk, it's weird that people will literally stop liking music because it isn't cool, or jump on the hatewaggon while listening to that shit in private.

I don’t like Nickleback but this thread changed my mind about this song. I’ve never appreciated it until I read those lyrics in my own voice. Separating the song from the stigma of Nickleback really did the trick.
