Best ways and cheapest ways to travel to a park city for a couple days?

In general, you could find some hotel rooms or air b+b for probably $150ish a night if you look. Don’t have to be right in town, bus goes all over if you need it.

If you don’t have a epic pass you’re looking at like $200 for a day ticket +\- some pocket change at that point.

You have an epic pass and free skiing? Just drive over from SLC hotels are cheap it’s a major city.


If you want to stay in PC itself rooms will get cheap again in March.


Sleeping in the car saves. I don’t think Airbnb will do much the fees suck and a bedroom in some kooks house will be as much as a hotel.

AirBnB is taking over this town and is good honestly, makes more sense to spend money on that vs. a hotel room with 2 queens and little living area. you'll get a kitchen and stuff so you can cook food and plenty of room for whoever else is coming along. Stay away from some of the AirBnBs at some of the properties right at the base of The Canyons. Theyre entirely misleading, make sure to check reviews of course.


Free bus system to the base areas and to main street. Main Street is where all the decent bars are located and theres really good cheap food off the beaten path surrounding main street unless you're looking to ball out one night.

Some of the taxi shuttles offer rides over to the cottonwoods if you have some cash to throw around unless you got a car.

Airbnb has ruined ski communities those used to be long term rentals for employees or just non trusty locals not anymore now the owner can make more in a month than they did in a year in many cases. Shame places don’t ban it anymore.


Not many cheap hotels. The Chateau Apres never changes their price it’s 150/night every night. If you book way in advance you can get it for Sundance and NYE etc etc. They don’t like my friend though he flipped his mattress and started laughing when the guy was flipping out and threatening to kick us out.
