Replying to Old Bindings, concern for safety?
Hi guys,
I did use the search bar and didnt have any luck...
I have a pair of about 10 year old skis with nearly brand new Rossignol bindings. They look the same as the current pivot bindings but say Rossignol. Apparently they dont label them as Rossignol any more. Their Din goes to 14 and I know they were high end when I bought them.
Should I be concerned about putting them on a new pair of skis? Has anyone experienced issues with the spring or functionality of an old binding thats been sitting in a closet for years?
The reason this is the case is I hurt myself badly skiing and moved to California and havent really been skiing. For 10 years... I'm moving back to snow and have these already and want your advice to see if I'm setting myself for potential injury. I believe I could take them to a shop and test them as well which I would plan to do.
Thanks for any advice you can provide!
