Aight kids, it's time for a contest - Foreverunknown II.
What is it?
A contest where participants make the most banger edit possible with only two tricks, straight airs and 50/50s. For reference, see the original
https://www.newschoolers.com/forum/thread/818504/50-50-Str8-Air-Callout
And Foreverunknown I
https://www.newschoolers.com/forum/thread/847201/FOREVERUNKNOWN
Why?
Why not?
What are the rules?
Forward straight airs and 50/50s only.
You can add any grab, shifty, and/or combine grabs while performing a straight air or 50/50.
No cliffs
Backcountry allowed - try to keep it inbounds though.
50/50 anything you want.
Taps and wheelies OK
Bonus points for side hits.
B-roll encouraged but should not be the focus.
Edit must be posted to Newschoolers.
Because this is starting in late January, you can use any footage you have.
Instagram edits disallowed, put a little effort into it.
Edit must be longer than one minute (i.e. there has to be editing involved)
What do I win?
The most banger edit that follows the rules wins 4.99 USD in cash in the mail as well as unlimited clout. Willing to send internationally.
When does this end?
Submissions must be made by 11:59 PM on April 15, 2020.
A winner, if there is one will be announced by 11:59 PM on April 18, 2020.
Why is this beginning so late?
Look, quarter life crises are hard.
I will edit this post with any modifications. If someone makes a full non-rule-breaking winning edit and I don't deliver, get the mods to ban me.
Now go!
Update on judging criteria:
(1) Variety
Include boxes, rails, jumps, urban, backcountry, and mountain features (but no cliffs). The edit should be balanced between at least a few of these things
(2) Creativity
Anything outside of what you usually imagine 50/50s and straight airs to be. Even if you only have boxes and rails in your edit, depending on how creative you are, you can still get full marks. But doing the same grabs or movements, clip after clip, will get a low score.
(3) Amplitude
The higher, farther, and faster, the better
Equal consideration will be given to each of these aspects, with a slight bias towards banger-looking hood edits. B-roll encouraged but should not be the focus.
