freestyler540Yay! congrats NS for 20 years of existence! Thank you users for keeping it alive!
Should we make something to commemorate it? nahhhhhhhh
Come on guys, I would have proudly bought a 20 year of NS t-shirt.

eheathI've explained this many times already, but you can't just "make merch" it costs a shit ton of money and without ordering large quantities, you cant even break even.
TheClap.I mean you can go to your local screen printer and get shirts made for under $10 and a minimum order of around 12.
eheathThis isn't a coed softball team, if we make merch were going to do it right. Selling 10 piece isn't worth really anyone's time seeing as we are all super busy all season. I'm not sure what else I have to say to get you guys to understand that making merch isnt easy, everyone thinks its easy but its expensive, difficult, time consuming and we wont make money off of it, so its a poor business move.
TheClap.Sounds like youre lazy and making excuses. I was just stating you can get shit made for dumb cheap now, either make 10 or 1000 the more you make the cheaper it will be, it will still only be a few hundred dollars. It’s not expensive, time consuming, and you would make money.
if enough people are asking, shame on you for not giving the people what they want.

eheathLets get something straight here, I am in no way in charge of making merch or have made any merch for NS. All merch has been created out of the Montreal office with their resources and products. Doug was the guy who put together merch for us a few years ago and he spent money out of his pocket to make it happen.
We would have to do the same now because we do not have budget to create merch, we dont have enough budget to keep our entire staff on year round. This isn't necessarily our fault either, our budget is controlled by our parent company and we ask for more every year and we get less.
Maybe consider that you have absolutely no idea whats happening behind the scenes at NS before you just cause us lazy.
eheathlol calum it is not my call
TheClap. Then just say your owners don’t want to make it instead of the lame excuses you have.
SEABURN@eheath professional graphic designer here* Have you guys looked into dropshipping? cuts out production costs significantly. You make less profit, but they barrier to entry is lower so people could still get product.

^ good initial breakdown of it.
I've been furloughed from my agency w/ the whole COVID bullshit, so I've got time I'd be happy to donate if you want to follow up. Been an NS member since '08, met some of my best friends through the site.

OregonDeadit would be rad if it got set up so we could pick from a couple designs and the shirt we want it on so people can order a long sleeve or hoody or crew neck or whatever. I have seen this set up by bands and you can even pick which fabric when you order
