Replying to K2 Sight or Poacher

Hello everyone. I am 17 years old and from southern Ontario where I ski at a small resort. I am also an instructor at this resort and currently I am rocking the 2019 K2 Sights 179cm. I originally had a few sets of skis but I was forced to use only one ski for everything: instructing, park, and on/off piste. I am considering buying the K2 Poachers for next season because they are wider and I can get them in 184cm, I would use them solely for personal use, leaving the sights for instructing because they get absolutely destroyed by the little guys stepping on them. Do you guys think its worth it for a separate set of skis? If so, should I go for poachers or another set of sights?

Btw, conditions are always hard packed, groomed, or icey. Not sure if a wider ski would be beneficial in those conditions. I ski larger resorts 2 or 3 times a year but sadly not too many pow days over here :(
