Colored wax staining bases

sup yall. havent made a thread in a bit but i need some help. I wax my own skis and buy wax from my local shop. The wax ive used before is either SVST red wax, or used some black colored blue bird wax. Both of which stained my bases. I now have red and black tints to my bases. ive extensively scraped and brass brushed to no avail. I thought it was just a crappy scraping/brushing job but even after a couple stone grinds theyre still tinted. Obviously its not a huge deal, but rather annoying. Have i permanently stained my bases? iron too hot? or is this just the nature of colored waxes? is there anything else i can do?
maybe ill post pics later. thanks

perhaps one other detail... i only get stains after putting on storage wax for the summer. maybe this prolonged time period just absorbs the color? never had any issues with regular waxing during the season

My bases have always been stained by the red base prep that I use. Just seems to come with the territory.
