Deathwish versus Jeffrey 108 in trees/bumps/techy stuff

My DD is the Deathwish 190. Love those skis and ski them 9 out of 10 days in Colorado. I've been skiing a ton of trees, bumps, and more techy stuff this year. I ski switch a bit and jump of every natural hit I can find. Would the Jeffrey 108 be a better fit for for this scenario, or would the difference even be very noticeable in these conditions? Would the PBJ 188 be a better option than the Jeffrey?

FYI im 6'3", 215# and an advanced, aggressive skier.

Don't know on PBJ fit vs the DW for you. I personally lean wider for west coast everyday, but sounds like you are on a platform you like - so if you want to take that platform to a thinner waist, PB&J makes a lot of sense.

Jeffrey 108 is going to be quite a bit more "freestyle" than the DW, but also heavier with a different feel with the bamboo.

So I suppose if you wanted to take your current platform but make it more turny with a thinner waist, PB&J would be way to go. If you wanted something that was still wide but was more of a jib ski in feel, then Jeffrey might make sense.

For what it is worth two, I don't hold those apples to apples. Excluding weight, Deathwish falls more in between Jeffrey and Woodsman than vs them (in my biased opinion).

I agree with Iggy.

So is this new ski going to be primarily used on firm snow? And what in particular do you want it to do better than the Deathwish? E.g., looser, lighter / quicker, more damp, more forgiving, more supportive, etc.

Maybe 60/40 soft/firm. Was thinking of something easier/quicker to manage in tight areas and bumps. Easier to swing around, so maybe quicker, primarily.
