January-February Ski Instructor Jobs

Curious whether there are places in Canada/US where it's possible to get a ski instructor gig just for January and the first part of February, then leave after that?
I know in Australia they hire people just for the holiday period, and it'd be good if I could go over just for a bit before uni each year...

Unlikely, you have to at least work for Christmas break. January and February are the slowest times of year for ski instructing other than the two holiday weekends, and they wouldn't hire someone just to cover those.

I've done exactly what you're talking about for the past 3 seasons. Not this year because I'm focusing on my music and because I'm in University.
I worked at Silverstar in Vernon BC, from the start of the season through to end of Jan when I was still in highschool. I started teaching over there when I was in year 10. My parents owned a small unit on the hill, so accommodation was sorted. It was a great time and made me grow up pretty fast.
