Liberty origin 106

Looking to see peoples opinion on the liberty Origin 106 as a directional yet playful 50/50 ski to be mounted with a set of shifts. Blisters review was positive and a few reviews on TGR were so so but curious if anyone else had an opinion on them? The one comment that stuck out to me was the shovels had a tendency to fold a bit in adverse conditions was curious if this holds true from other people’s experience. I’m not a big guy but I like to think I ski pretty aggressively around the mountain. Any opinions help even if you could point me towards another forum I may have missed that would be appreciated aswell.

My buddy uses the older Origin 116 as a daily driver and loves them. I think the new 106 would be a great ski for what you are looking for.

Just get Woodsman 108's, similar shape but stronger.

That’s exactly the ski I’m tossing it up against but there are a few cons to it although I do think I have more faith in On3p. First being weight for the touring side of the 50/50. the second being price as to us Canadians the price jump is exponential.

I am a big ON3P whore and I think they are definitely the most durable skis I have used or fixed core shots on (or seen lack of base damage). But they are definitely heavier but feel more stable at speed, my Jeffrey 114's are noticeably heavier than my friend's Origin 116 with the same bindings. I've been pretty impressed with the durability of his Origins given that we are usually hitting the same rocks and are both pretty lax about tuning
