What is the reason we look forward to skiing so much and why is it so fun?

Multiple reasons.
Freedom and exploration is one. Being able to zoom around an entire mountain with few limits to what you can do.
The adrenaline is also great, a reason for liking any extreme sport.
And then it's the lifestyle, which I don't have permanently but get to experience every time I go on a trip.
