Butterytips69I stand by my prediction
-arc-Canucks have just had a little shakeup in their coaching staff. Bringing in Brad Shaw as an assistant coach should help out Green, PP coach was fired (last season we have the 3rd best PP in the league or something), and thank god Ian Clarke is back for goaltending coach to make sure Demko keeps kicking ass.
coronaBummed MTL had a flukey run and made it to the semis. They honestly don't stand a chance against Vegas. Leafs or Jets both would have had a better shot at making the finals, and if there's one thing hockey fans can agree on it's fuck Vegas. A team that shouldn't exist in a city that shouldn't exist.
-arc-I really want to see the leafs put it all the pieces together one year. I'm not sure it'll happen with this core, but damn they've suffered enough in all honesty. Yeah their fanbase is insufferable, but my time literally torched cars and rioted when they didn't win.
Never write of Carey Price though, MTL could come back and decide to not let any goals in. Then Caufield can get the easy tap in and spam TSN for a while. Habs in 5.
Also just found out the Carey Price's nickname is Larry. That shit is too funny. Wish my name rhymed with something funny.

steezboxHow was it a fluke?
coronaThey barely made the playoffs, had a pretty shit record against the teams they played against during the regular season, and have a team with little depth and no star players (maybe Price). 4/5 times Toronto or Winnipeg would have won those series.
steezboxWinning 1 game is a fluke. I don't understand how 7 in a row can ever be seen as a fluke. If Winnipeg or Toronto could compete with Vegas they would have won.
During the regular season most of the Habs best players were injured. And they have few star players, but it's specifically their depth which at least gives them some edge. Their 4th line is one of the strongest parts.
I'm obviously a Habs fan, but I am realistic; I try not to be a fairweather fan. Big chance they get eliminated this series. But the whole "they got lucky" narrative makes no sense. No one in the conference finals is lucky (Habs, islanders, whoever).
