Looking to buy a truck in SLC

I'm heading out west at the end of the month and looking to buy a truck while I'm out there to ship or drive back. I despise car dealerships, and prefer to buy things from private sellers but cant seem to find much for sale. Auto trader and similar websites have stuff listed by dealers at absurdly high prices (No way in hell I'm paying 7 grand for a 200k+ mile silverado). SLC Craigslist has like 40 vehicles on it total and most are listed by dealers. Does no one in Utah sell their own car? Any recommendations on where to look would be appreciated.

Nobody in Utah uses craigslist. They all use KSL classifieds.



that being said, the truck market in Utah/Colorado/ski country is fucking insane. You’re going to paying a lot of money for anything.

If not, I possibly might be selling my 2010 Tacoma around March or April. Have not committed to selling it, might put in storage for a while.

I have a 07 Tacoma and and 08 Silverado now. I thought I would sell the Silverado and buy a 1/2 or 3/4 ton out there. I need a full size for work and thought I could pick something up out west with less rust. Been browsing KSL though and prices out there are fucking wild
