Replying to Something nagging me about my uni ski club...

Just found out my uni ski club actually makes a profit from the price they charge for our annual ski trip, to allow both the exec team to go at a discounted rate BUT ALSO so they have money to run other events throughout the year for everyone, including people who didn't actually go on the trip. Is this kinda reasonable, or am I just getting worked up over something that I shouldn't be?

This particular ski club isn't great regardless, the people who go on it aren't great skiers, and the president is a green run skier which says something in itself...
