Replying to Sw cork vs sw rod question

yoyo. I be having a difficult time getting the correct axis for sw cork. maybe someones got some helpful tips.

right now I can do a very flippy sw rodeo (almost sw lincoln) but can't seem to find a middle ground between that and just a regular sw 5 or 7. when I set the trick my brain automatically just thinks backflip. my sw rod 7s aren't as flippy as the 5s, yet they still look totally fooked.

preciate' any good advice helping ur boy get corked properly.
