Replying to Tahoe resorts mountain ops strike

soo for a while ive been wanting to start a workers rights movement at squaw. Also been wanting to get their customers to force them to change their name but that’s another issue altogether. Anyways bortys post got me excited. Would anyone be interested in trying to get a strike going at all the corporate owned resorts in tahoe during the high season in spring to shut down tahoe for a few days and force them to raise wages? Has anything like this ever been done in the ski industry before. Possible? Impossible? Idk but shit is fucked at the moment in terms of mountain town inequality. Like borty I think said the fact that full time mountain employees have to use food shelves to subsidize their groceries is fucked, and I’ve been there.
