Anyone ski big bear, california?

There has to be a couple of park skiers at bear :( Im up here on weekends usually! hmu lets shred!

Why didn’t you join new schoolers like before last weekend?
i just skied up there on the 28 and the 29 of December.

Might be going there January 6! I hear they have really nice parks and in general a good place to ski.

Everything is expensive. Motel 6 does not have a hot tub but was supposedly the cheapest according to the guy who set up my trip.
Rooms were cleanish

I used to ski bear with my snowboard buds all the time when I lived out there. Endless funpportunities await those at bear mountain

Might be my favorite west coast resort ever. It’s like a SoCal beach party on the snow with insanely fun park features. Let Tahoe have all the powder, I would choose Bear over that any day. Unfortunately I don’t ski there....

I ski park and am up there and at snow valley and snow summit.

Park skiers are rare in so cal, but you can find them.

I've been wondering if you could camp at lower elevations. It looks like you could drive east on the 38 or 18 highways and camp without it being too cold.

I think camping is a option on the pull outs among other areas.


theres plenty of cheap cabin and hotel options.

places like baldy and mountain high camping is more a necessity then at Bear.
