Go pro hero 8 footage blurry while editing

When I edit the footage from the go pro hero 8 it’s blurry. Then I pause the footage and the details return to the clip, I press play and it’s back to blurry. I have a Mac book pro with an upgraded graphics card. My go pro 7 had no issues and looked great when editing. Any reason for this? Any solutions? Thanks

Could be your settings in your video editor, not sure what you're using but most video editing programs have an option to playback at full, 1/2, 1/4,1/8 etc so i'd say look into that first
