People go to Africa ti ski. Why not? Yolo or whatever. Id live to take some turns in Hawaii but seems too pricey/logistical nightmare unless the snow holds for long periods. Idk the deetz
There is a road that goes all the way up to these observatories. Was just thinking if I someday lived here someday if I could do some skiing. Pretty cool place.
yeah I been hearing about a bunch of ongoing protests by locals up there against new construction on the volcano. Pretty cool that it does snow up there but there are plenty of places to ski where you won't piss off the local people

That's cause they skied on the dirt itself, and they were not on the summit. I am pretty sure skiing on snow near the summit is fine. I have seen multiple videos of it and have seen no backlash.

Yeah i should have clarified that, the locals seem chill with it as long as you're skiing snow.

Yes there was a news article about it and it seems like they hiked/skied right by a “Sacred Land” sign
