If anyone saw my previous thread about the pivots that got mounted mad crooked this is an update on that. I went to the shop and when they saw them in person they realized how bad they were. They can not be remounted center because the holes are to close so they are giving me a brand new pair of tom wallisch pros that are 3 model years newer. This is a great ski shop. They said that the mistake probably happened because it was during their ski swap where they were swamped and had loads of skis to mount. This is only the second time in years that the shop has made a mistake like this and they always make it right so i would definitely recommend the Mt Holly ski shop.
Since the skis are brand new you should buy the exact same pair and unmount your old bindings and put them crooked on the new ones so they’ll have to sponsor you for life.

Nice that they took care of you and made everything right, still a hassle though.
2 seasons ago I got new skis mounted at REI in Tustin, CA. There aren’t many ski shops in Southern California.....
When I got the skis back, there were deep marks on the top and bottom sheet.
Manager said that the marks were there when I dropped them off. I showed him pictures of the new shrink wrapped skis taken in his store.
Then after a week of fighting this he said that the gouges would happen anyways during use and only offered me a refund of $50 for the mounting.
REI sucks ass. Plus the outdoorsy people there (employees and customers) have a crappy condescending attitude and are inconsiderate.
Sold the skis at a huge loss on Craigslist.
Going to try getting skis mounted at Phil’s in Costa Mesa, CA Sunday.

OP im glad it worked out for you with the shop and they helped you out in the end. You'll love that new TWP and I hope you continue to do your business with that shop and become and advocate for them. That's all your local ski shop is looking for out of you.
nuno81291Why the super rear mount? Don’t ride park much? Nice paint job... plastidip?
they are center mounted. i think they look rear mounted in the picture because they are leaning back on those dressers at an angle. i just used white primer spray paint but did a lot of taping on the pivots before
