Whats the deal with copyrighted music on company park insta pages

Soooo what most resorts/pages do is use royalty free music. Most of the time the marketing department has access to a couple different platforms that provide royalty free music. I'm 100% sunday river marketing does, they use it all the time. Most of the legit park pages from big resorts have a big enough marketing team that whoever in charge doesn't allow copyright music or content with music that bypasses copyright (I will get to this in a second). That being said, you'll see smaller park pages that will post edits with songs that are obviously copy written (or in your words famous). People post edits on instagram and get around copyright in a variety of ways that I will not share, but if you're wondering how they're using "famous" songs its because they're getting around the copyright laws on IG with different schemes. If you're working with Sunday River, talk to the marketing team about getting access to their royalty free music platforms. Additionally, you can download your own song from a free royalty free music provider, you can google it but the music usually sucks if you don't have to play for the platform. Youtube has a channel- Audio Library----Music for Content Creators that isn't half bad and is free. If you're wondering how Sunday River parks IG has old content with "famous" songs, its because the old person who used to manage the account Jake dube was the man and knew his shit and would repost. This was two years ago before IG became so commercial and copyright was waaay more lax. Basically back then, as long as IG didn't flag the video immediately, the content was good to go. Hoping T72 is fun tomorrow, first time riding back east in 2 years.

Instagram completely removes videos from their platform that are copyrighted, like the second you upload it they remove it. There are ways to cheat the algorithim, but any legitimate resort with a marketing budget wouldn't allow content that is obviously copyrighted on it anymore. Go look at those 860 media Carinthia edits on IG, they all have stock royalty free songs. Years ago copyrighted songs on resort IGs used to be a go but the industry standard is that it's a big no-no now.

Weird. Knock on wood but I have a few recent vids on the gram and insta tv. All with copyrighted songs. Clips are still up along with the music

Yeah typically its the bigger record companies or whatever, such as Warner Bros, Sony, that seem to have paid the $$ to instagram into their algorithm to detect and remove songs. For instance, I posted a couple videos on my IG story that I had edited- one to a 50 cent song from 2005 and then 2 minutes later Blondie heart of glass. The videos with 50 had no problem and stayed up, but the vids with heart of glass got flagged and removed immediately.

with actualt IG posts I believe the content gets flagged and then there is an option that says something along the lines of "if you feel like this is a mistake and you own the rights, click here" and then the video goes live again... but in your case that would obviously be setting up someones resort / marketing department for failure which you should shy away from
