I got lucky and scored a pair of K2 AK launchers at a ski swap in Bozeman this year. It’s my understanding that these were badass OG planks skiers would use to ski Alaskan spines and similar big mountain terrain. Not sure the exact dimensions but they’re about 200+ cm and 90 underfoot give or take. They were around in the late 80, and 90s, and I’d really like to ski em. My question is; is there anyone, familiar with this ski, or others like it, that knows If it’s possible to get them mounted with modern bindings like look 18’s. Thanks.
Nice find man. And yeah you can totally stick modern bindings on them. The pivots are probably older then that ski. Mount them up and go straight line some pow.
