he's lowered taxes for small businesses, lower/middle income families, kept us out of wars (last few presidents kinda sucked at that), negotiated trade deals that have brought our stock market (401k's anyone?) to all time highs... truth be told he's done a good job despite what whiners want to say. in the grand scheme we are still f'd, trump hasn't done enough to ensure our nation's survival, but nobody else was going to either. every one of these people... trump, bernie, biden, all of them, every single one of them cares nothing about your rights, your freedoms, or the economic future of you and the country. watch them ignore the 23+ trillion debt and suggest more spending, watch them sneak in renewals of the patriot act (mass NSA surveillance) like it's nothing. making rich people pay for poor people's healthcare isn't going to fix the country, nothing short of another violent revolution will fix things. and they know that. it's a big club and you aren't in it ;)

Giving us the rights that people in other developed nations have is what all of his policy positions are based on. The right to health care, the right to a full education, voter rights, housing rights, employment rights. That's ALL he talks about. Your assertion that hes just another member of the establishment that can be lumped in with Trump and Biden is dead wrong. You say Trump has kept us out of wars but that is literally doing the bare minimum and he's been antagonizing Iran so I wouldn't even say he's doing that. Bernie has been voting against American interventionist foreign policy for the past 40 years. Under Trumps administration Military spending has gone up. Who is paying for it? He cut the corporate tax from 35% to 21% while also lowering income tax across the board. That means he's cutting the benefits for the grandma that uses medicare to pay for her chemo, and the single mom using food stamps to feed her children that week, and the disabled veteran who uses his VA benefits to pay for his pain medication. Sure the left makes bad faith arguments and Trump gets SOME stuff right but you know what they say, a broken clock is right twice a day.

America shouldnt be big brother and police other nations and send America's troops. American gov leaders have done it for ages and it's not working enough to warrant that behaviour especially when promoting democracy. Even though foreign aid is minuscule to other gov spending I dont think they should especially when looking at how they stick up for Israel.

That tax cut really did very little for the broader part of the population.
In fact, more than 60% of the tax savings went to people in the top 20% of the income ladder, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center. The measure also slashed the corporate tax rate by 40%.
The tax cut also failed to produce a permanent boost in economic growth, despite promises from Republican supporters.
In fact, the economy grew 2.9% last year — exactly the same as in 2015.
The tax cut, along with increased government spending, did give a short-term lift to the economy and businesses temporarily boosted investment. But the rocket fuel burned off quickly. Business investment declined in the last two quarters.
That 401k or any other retirement fund would be doing a lot better IF he he didn't get involved in stupid fucking trade wars. His "deals" (more like lack thereof) have been filled with empty drivel and stupid fucking decisions.
The China deal? Well, that hasn't even happened yet. I can't tell you how many times we've been told there's a preliminary agreement only for it to fall apart.
