i just got an ipod, who knows how long it should take to be formatted? mines been going for like an hour now and its not showing signs of stopping

If you are formatting using the Winsows utility that's normal, if you are using the iPod Manager, that's not normal. Call Apple you still have your 90 day thing going on.

i unplugged it restarted the ipod and my comp and it worked, thanks though
