I went up brighton last spring on shrooms after they closed. Had plans to hike the tubes and learn new tricks. I ended up touring up the mountain with my park skis on while listening to come together and here comes the sun in a playlist on repeat. I never ended up learning any new tricks or hitting a rail at all.

Ill take that as a no then. Im on a school ski trip and were at resort which doesnt have any park built up currently, so it probably wouldnt be that bad tho.

I'm sure people do it but hallucinogens and skiing sounds super risky to me. 0% chance I'd be able to ski let alone get on a lift. Nothing like skiing full speed into a snow cat so that you can warp into another dimension to save the bird people from extinction.

Yes, I’ve done it 10-15 times from microdoses to full doses. Microdoses were fun, you’ll feel really motivated and energized. Full doses were overwhelming and sketchy, but so fun and occasionally really beautiful. The sense of connection to nature and childhood nostalgia I felt while tripping can’t be fully described. However, I lost my phone on a full dose once and that was a trip from hell. Ended up having a panic attack mixed with scary hallucinations (not fun).I also drank a bunch of coffee on a dose once and then hiked rails. Almost had a seizure and had to lay down on hill. If you wanna go for it my advice would be, don’t mix with other substances and proceed with caution.

I just wrote an epic tale of a summer road trip to ski and windows 10 killed it. Cheers for restarting my computer with 13 seconds heads up. Also the shit just updated 2 days ago. Windows is trash :(

A group of friends and myself used to do shrooms then go long boarding through parking garages. Rolled to the bottom floor then used the elevator to get back to the top just like a ski lift. So fun and peaceful.

I could imagine that the "floating" feeling while being in powder would be orgasmic.

It was perfect on those summer "college" nights. We would get out and send the lift back down to the bottom so we could just roll back in and ride to the top.

Depends how much I guess. IMO shrooms are better for improving mentally rather than enjoying visuals and having fun. Don’t get me wrong I have lots of fun on shrooms but the hallucinations arent that crazy on them it just makes everything wavey and makes patterns which is kinda cool but nothing too much fun like LSD. They also make my body feel kinda wonky on the come up which I can’t really explain. Musics a little better too but ik if it was me skiing on shrooms id just be non stop thinking about life and I feel like it would take away from the skiing. Try smoking meth instead. Never done it but I heard it gives you superpowers. Legend has it you can even fly on meth, you just need to believe in yourself.

100% recommend. my only experiences have been on pow days and have all been amazing and fun. great for progression, thinking outside the box, sacking up to send new/bigger features - almost feels like enhanced ability/awareness sometimes. always find myself impressed by muscle memory and filled with joy about how great it feels to ski.
had to escape patrol one time which lead to a bit of panic for us, but was hilarious after the fact.

Massive fun of skiing on hallucinogens. Mushrooms even increase visual acuity and co ordination in the right dose.

It really depends on the person, I can ski fine on 500u of lsd, infact it is a ridiculous performance enhancer for me, I tune into my body completely and my reflexes turn into lightning. My runs become super creative.


im going to compete in the fwt qualifier this year on Lucy. Will report back

Yup,
My buddies and I freshman year of college all ate an eighth each and went to fuckin blue hills lmao. We went during a blizzard and there were only two hours left before the lifts closed and we were so clearly tripping it was hilarious. probably my most memorable day skiing ever. This was also back when the negative headspace that can happen with psychs wasn't anything that i really had ever considered so it was all just good vibes and trippy visuals. No fuckin way id go skiing on an eighth now.

I'm much more familiar with Lucy, but the first pyschedelic experience I had was shrooms.

Anyone got any input on L vs shrooms for skiing? And microdosing vs a regular dose? I'm a fairly experienced psychonaut, but haven't ever done anything physical on shrooms. The only time I've mico'ed shrooms it was very underwhelming.

one time i skied loon off a tab of lucy. maybe its just the fact that it was mid january and Loon is steep as shit but I really wasnt feeling the park hits too much, just did some straight slides and back 2s but damn if it didnt feel good to put the ski on edge. I started to pretend I was in a Bronze video and commited my day to the "arc of the swerve". Had some interesting rides in the gondy because I was skiing alone but overall, a fun experience. Id reccomend this for a spring skiing day with sun in the forecast and soft conditions. Up to you wether youd like to hit jumps or ski trees in that condition but id imagine a pow slash in a woods trail or a fat cork while tripping is hard to top if youre into skiing and psychs.

2nd this. 1 tab has never done much for me and once I had most of 1 shroom (maybe slightly less than a gram?) and didnt trip that hard but it was a really bad time due to sitting in a car going 90 mph in the pouring rain the whole time.
So i kinda want to try skiing on a fair bit more, like 2 tabs or an eighth. What do yall think

In a different life I took some and was hiking two jumps in late summer up at hood. I was really frying. And when I jumped everything slowed down so much that I new the exact spot I was gonna land!. I also in a shroom daze drank way to much water way too fast and then I power puked up a bunch of water at the bottom of the chairlift..

I think it really depends on how shrooms effect you. If you feel comfortable. I say go for it. Skiing is fun. Sober or not!

I remember one day I took 5-600 mcg lsd in a park - zonked out hard then took the train home. Realised I had a bunch of mdma at home so I took about 200mg and started candy flipping HARD. I was into drum and bass at the time so I put my headphones and running gear on and started sprinting through the streets doing 360s and 180s while listening to pendulum having the time of my life. I ended burning out in about 30 minutes lol.

Yeah. Unfortunately i didnt didnt get to the mountain until like 11 am so my only complaint was it was too short. Definitely was a performance enhancer but it got me sore as all hell

Cringy self-reflection. Holy fucking cringe. Short of doing some massive ego loss dose, most people would probably be fine. Psilocybin does impact the "don't do this you might die" part of the brain, so could be good or could be bad. Definitely would be fun.


Edit for: you do have impairment of coordination after a certain dose level so I'm not saying it's 100% safe. Everything has risks. Balancing risks to us and those around us is what you gonna take into account.
