What is everyone asking Santa for Christmas this year?
He delivered early this year for me and got me a season pass at Meadows on Hood.

SammyDubzNew boots my last year before I go into the real world. Old ones are packed to shit but I’m a broke college boi so I’ve been putting it off for too long
kinda bummed this is my last year with a bunch of time off around Xmas to chill with the fam and ski everyday.

theabortionatorNothing. Christmas gift giving gives me anxiety and I opted out of the family one a long time ago and don't join any others. If I see something I know a friend would like sometimes I'll grab it, or dabble in a mellow secret santa at work but just not into that side of christmas. I do like seeing relatives though and catching up. Been a few years since I've made it back east to see them though.
I would be stoked if my raise situation at work got sorted out because I'm not even sure if I can afford rent for Jan and haven't even bought groceries.
OregonDeadI still believe in Santa. Tempting to mail a letter to the north pole but I know better than that. Santa is always watching so why waste the stamp. Hoping he hooks me up with boots that fit. Really just want to be able to ski without pain. I am going to the bootfitter Wednesday and that seems like just the place for a jolly elf to work his magic.
BTW I love you Santa!
oldmanskiHow is the leg doing? You have been skiing on it correct?
OregonDeadStill getting better. I have skied two short days at Timberline so far. Painful but better than not skiing so I plan to be back out there again tomorrow
oldmanskiI hear ya. I hope Santas elves can hook you up on the boot fitting next week and have fun tomorrow, I will be at Meadows on my maiden voyage from a knee surgery in April.
BiffbarfI just want titties deep pow. Santa, hook it up big dog. Milk and cookies are on the table.
BST_PoliceBut seriously Christmas is such a frivolous holiday. People go to church like they care. Lmao. It's an excuse to see those relatives you loathe and tolerate for 6 hours, 4 times a year. Being obligated to give gifts is such a shitty thing too. It's amazing to see how much money Americans can spend on a single holiday while people die of starvation around them (same for Thanksgiving). Think of how many people maxed out their credit cards on black Friday for gifts their kids will use once and forget about.
Don't get me wrong. Getting presents as a kid is the best thing ever. But now that I'm an adult and can buy what I want at any time, it kind of defeats the purpose of a Christmas list. I really don't care if I get anything and I don't care what I get. I'd rather someone give me something thoughtful or unique or go do something fun like skiing or some other activity you can enjoy with your family and friends. Being told what to buy someone is offensive if you think about it. Someone asking you want you want really just means they are too lazy to try to get something you might like. I tried to get everyone on board with not caring about gifts this year; lasted for about a week and they changed their minds.
Some cookies, a good meal, and pow are all I want for Christmas.
TnskiI don't like getting gifts but for most if my life all I wanted for Christmas was some killer weed and alchohol but santa was uncool with that request.
HYP3R_REAL1TYA gf
HYP3R_REAL1TYI wish more people where on this wave length man. Like now that I have a job I can afford what I want. but the best gift is someone putting in effort, hell even if it’s a $20 statue of a skier or some shit, that is way more meaningful than a voucher for clothes.
even with gift giving people get hung up on that being the only time to appreciate that person. I think if someone’s friend or family you should always go out of your way for them and just be a good person. Not just reserve gratitude for gift giving.

Young_IPMCI try to keep it small. I told the two people who asked me what I wanted to split a pair of ski socks. My current pairs are getting a little worn
DeebieSkeebiesmore good skiing tbh and ski socks
me and my mom are probably gonna donate to a non-profit in SLC that provides Christmas for people who arent able to pull it off this year so that'll be chill
