One day up on the mountain I was snowboarding (back when I was autistic) with my 13 dollar Burton LTR snowboard from a thrift shop. The back binding was kinda loose and jiggly but I wasn't worried about it because I couldn't notice a difference. anyways, I hit the first flat rail at the top of the entire run, and I crashed and the snowboard binding just fell off (this was at the top of Sierra at Tahoe). I had to ride down the whole mountain, binding in hand, looking like a jerry the whole time. The only fun thing was I got to do some bonelesses (for all you skateboarders) on side hits.
any good stories about skiing or anything?
