Cork 3 help

I know holding the grab for longer will probably help, but my issue is clearly in the takeoff.

Tried carving super hard for the last attempt which helped it a bit, but its still super backseat. I think I'm setting it too far down instead of back?

Stand a little straighter on take off and bring your legs up instead of bending down. Idk what else you could do, looking good

the axis is looking dope, maybe try and take off with a tiny bit more shin pressure, that should put you a bit more forward when you' landing. hyped to see the clip of you stomping it!

Nice axis. It’s an actual cork not just a 3 with a ground facing grab. I can’t cork 3 but repetition is probably your best bet because you’re already v close

One thing that really helped me is try not opening up your left shoulder as much. Set the trick the exact same but if you keep that left shoulder closed more it will allow you to cork harder if you want to but wont make you over-rotate to 450 or 540 which is a common problem. Try it out, trust me

Looks really good tho man cork 3 is a tricky one to figure out. Was for me at least because they are hard as fuck to figure out on tramp. On skis they are way easier but the way I learned them on tramp too is to keep that leading shoulder closed. It will change your life. Just make sure you still set the trick as hard

Bro it looks like you're setting perfectly and just opening up too soon. Concentrate on keeping your core strong and hanging on to the spin a little longer and itll be juicy as fuck.

Not bad dude! Keeping your core tight is huge and also maintaining forward pressure in your boots should help with your backseat issue. Also something that works for me in any cork, 3, 7, whatever, is bringing my leading ear to my shoulder. Since you spin left try bringing your left ear to your left shoulder. If it works for you like it does with me it's kind of like a cheat code

hips lead on take off , actively pop , don't "swerve" of the take off. then literally try to stay as calm as possible since the rotation will always dial itself in and you'll get out fine centered. The second you flay arms because a no grab or early let go - it will result in messing the rotation up and you'll more likely land backseat :)



keep that in mind and rinse and repeat and eventually they are on lock. enjoy ya szn

i agree, OP you're well on the way, just keep doing them and you'll be more and more comfy hanging them out and that's the best part of a c3. you're looking great, just keep it up and soon you'll be letting the spin do its thing. right now you're doing it really well, you're just getting a little antsy halfway through but that'll go away
