It's not too often that they're all together at the same time. So nice to have the kids home for the holidays.

>189 BG - Pow basher and crud smasher.
>193 Cochise - Daily driver.
>191 Enforcer 104 w/ CAST - New this year. Bought them after I broke the MB116. Gotten a few days on them and so far I dig em.
>187 Menace 98 - For when everything hurts and my legs feel like noodles. And the occasional rail.
>193 Cochise - backup for my daily driver.
>192 Supernatural 115 - Former daily, currently a house decoration. On the DL with a crunched sidewall.
>186 Wrenegade 112 - ripped two Shift toes out of these so they're toast with Swiss cheese on top. Claim to fame: Mentioned by Iggy and Cody on the Blister pod.
>186 Mindbender 116 - Started the season mounted with CAST and a bright future as a touring rig. Unfortunately they quickly found their way out of the starting lineup and onto the DL with dual blown edges and a compound fracture to the core. Not the kind of injury you want to see a rookie take in October.
+2 pairs of blades because nobody should blade alone.

Lol on owning the famous shift/on3p skis discussed so many places! they do look kinda sad.
Maybe your a candidate for some bindingfreedom/quiverkiller inserts? they make 15mm versions... :D
Good eye. They are extremely dried out and were ridden on concrete at the end of last season. Haven't waxed them in a couple years. :'( I will give them some TLC now.

IDK, but if you are riding concrete, then maybe no need.
No really though, if there is still some life in them, give them some love!
I believe they have plenty life left in them. Going to ptex the base and give them a fresh wax/sharpen job. The concrete was not intentional, but necessary to reach my wife in the parking after a long day of skiing and drinking. Not taking off my skis was a huge oversight looking back. ;). Wish I had a cooler jib related story.

They are. I haven't skied them yet. Hoping to soon. Not much snow here in SW MI right now. I am told from a couple people who have them that they are awesome. But I cannot speak from my own experience. They seem very playful when you flex them by hand.
tsewhsojThose are the ARV 96 UL’s right? How do you like them?

I use a sharp metal scraper on stuff like that. Then a long base bevel, the steel scrape hard again. You need to peel away the top dried up layer so the have a chance to take some wax again. Good luck.

Word, I’m sure you will love them! I had the TI version a few seasons ago and loved them, though they were really heavy as with most of Armada’s skis it seems. Loved the shape of them, hopefully they bring them back!
Thanks for the tips. Will make sure to do that. Hoping the base takes the wax well once cleaned and ground.

DAMN i envy you guys. i have some beat to shit 40$ nordica soulriders with crap bindings and k2 marksmans with marker griffons. not complaining but seeing ur 5 sets of skis makes me feel some type off way. 🤤
anders_ahow you likeing the stranger? I feel its a bit.. meh vs blade?
And the revolt is fun even on less snow, but really looking forward to test it more all over
The Revolt is unbelievably good on hard snow for the shape it is. My knees aren't loving skiing a ski that wide on hard, manmade snow but the skis are fine with it.
The Blade and the Stranger are very different. The Stranger is a directional shape but with a flex something like the Revolt. You can easily butter around, they still kinda work in the park, etc. The Blade goes way further towards being a carving ski with a wider waist. I don't have much time on them, I just tried them at a demo so I wouldn't want to comment too much. But the Stranger doesn't go as far towards carving performance as even the Sakana, let alone the Blade. That said, the Stranger still skis well in my books and the tail shape is super fun for popping over stuff and playing around. It's just more of an 'in-between' ski.
EPfanboyWhat are the skis with the arsenic sticker?
theyre msp107 prototypes built by @mattsterbenz , the production model has titanal but mine just have an extra layer of fiberglass so they are super heavy and damp. They're my resort pow ski I love them for blasting through chop and soupy spring days
That_One_kidJust got a pair of JJ Ultralights for a steal at the end of the season to complete my quiver. Also have a pair of next years gold Pivot 15s to mount them up with. Don't think I'll be needing anything else soon unless something breaks on me. There's a lot of overlap in the park category here but I like hanging on to my old beat up skis even if I know I won't use them.
Left to Right:
185 Armada ARV JJ UL 116, Pivot 15s; - Powder/Wide out west ski
184 K2 Marksman, Pivot 14s; -3.0 from center- Daily Driver out west; I love these, have had them since they first came out. They're such a great do it all ski
184 Armada ARV 96, Pivot 14s, -2.0 from center; - picked up at the beginning of this season, daily driver for park/all mountain. Very happy with them after a season
185 Line Chronic, FKS 140; -2.0 from center - Skied these as a daily park ski for 3 years so they're beat, pretty much just a rock ski now
184 Nordica Ace of Spades - Salomon STH 14 Driver, centered' - Last I skied these I was getting towed behind a truck through town in a snow storm
177 Armada T-Hall - Shot ski, Fiberglass splinters on demand
Got my JJ Ultralights Mounted with Gold Pivot 15s over the weekend at -2.5. Can't wait to try them out.
Ight I need new skis, rocking TW pros rn (bad call). Anyone got recommendations?? Looking for something pretty giving but not a mf noodle stick either.
Blizzard Rustler 9 probably gonna mount a ATK R12 on them
Elan 940 FAS Salomon 457
hehe team insert! I've used up more than 100 inserts so far the last few weeks, wondering how resale will bee though, but so space and $$ saving and nice to work with!
Got BC120s with shifts myself, wondering what to put on vision 118

Isnt rustler/atk a bit weird combo though?
I know but the atk skis great and the Rustler is pretty stable so great combo for shitty spring skiing. I'd mount shifts on the vision (I'm a huge shift fanboy)
tsewhsojThe Prester’s are one of the best full camber skis I’ve ridden, super durable too!
No doubt my favorite ski but I've actually snapped two of them in the same spot during awkward falls (i.e. switch knuckling a big jump)... And I'm less than 170lb. Anyone got a spare 181cm in good condition?
Faction Prodigy 2.0 collab
Faction CT 3.0 (tech binding because lots of touring because chairlifts are still closed, will put attacks on them when lifts open)

Sucks Revision screwed so many ppl over, the subtraction graphics are sick
Fun fact. Those dynastar twins were actually made by line!!! I had a pair as well. I loved them when I was a grom

Clark91The QSTs are the daily drivers. The K2s were my first skies. Traded some climbing gear for them.
"QST.......CQ CQ CQ DX calling all stations. This is Whiskey Charlie 684, centrally located on the central coast of sunny California overlooking the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. The barefoot station, across the nation with no amplification, and I'm pullin' it striaght back!" Ah, those were fun days!
CatdickBojangleslol a good bit of the members on here have grown up with the site and have squeaky knees and joints now and can’t comfortably ride park anymore.
I ride parks every day. I still get a bit of air. Do I hit rails? No. When they came out with that stuff, well, I was already too old!
I love the vibe, like to film it. I live vicariously through those that do it.
Stay young at heart.
