Replying to Boot fitting

Alright guys... I so I have no good boot fitters around me. Only one I have is a bike/ski shop (Mostly bike...) My foot measured out at 28.5 and they say go a size down for a snug fit. Which is what they did. I have the Dalbello Il Moro ID in 27.5. Fit fine except they squeeze my ankle. They don't have a 28.5 in store (Would have to ship it) Would they be fine if I had them molded or should I risk it with the 28.5 and them possibly be bigger?
