What does everyone do with their skis when they are not being used. I was looking at a wall mount just not sure if it would damage the edges.

Dont store them base to base unless they're dry (super dry) or you'll get rust. Best thing to do is give them a quick wipe down and lay them against a wall separated with bases facing out.

I wipe them down and give a really thick coat of wax that I leave on entirely til the following ski season. Store in the basement away from the light.

If you were gonna wall mount, I'd make the rack horizontal.
