Seasons pretty sick the ski resort had their first opening in November ever shout at perfect north. I’ve also learned a ton of new shit so it’s been fun
Things started off early here in southern MI for the third year which was awesome. However the warm Thanksgiving washed all snow away and for the last week temps have been just barely to warm to make snow. Bittersweets been closed for two weeks, hopefully be open in about 4-5 days.
Just had basically reconstructive shoulder surgery, so season won't start till early March for me, hope all y'all get pounded with snow and get some crazy days in this year, I'll see y'all for spring/party season
Been skiing for a little over a month now. Most of that is just the back yard park or hiking our local hill.
Headed out to Vermont to do some skiing for a week and hang out with my dad. First day of skiing was at Sugarbush today. Dad has been skiing a long time but he's old and doesn't do much that isn't groomed. First run of the day at bush he took a digger in some fresh chop and had to get brought down in a sled by patrol. Some tears in his quadricep from the crash (Dins were improperly set up at the shop he's doing season rentals from- I shoulda checked before we went) means he won't be skiing this week or even this season.
Puts a damper on things but hopefully I will be able to get a few more days in out here in Vermont this week solo. Season is still young!
I blew out ACL #3on the first run of the season trying to avoid a jerry collision. It hasn’t settled in yet so I still think it’s hilarious but beware of any boredom based sad salt coming to the forums soon
finally getting up to bear this coming week, they had rain after the dump. january will be better. plus pineapple express. planning a hood trip in may and definitely some mammoth, all is well.
Unmarked hazards exist still at solitude. Fixed four coreshots the day before, then this happened yesterday lol. Landed directly on a rock coming off a small cliff.

Its been a decent start in the cottonwoods but yeah we are still a ways away from total coverage. Stay safe out there too duder.
Been strong honestly. First few days felt less-rusty than normal. Rehabbing my foot and doing some gym workout stuff before the lifts spun helped.
Real talk though, is there anything I should do to my skis before I use them again, seeing as they've been sitting in my garage unused since spring? Re-wax? Maybe recalibrate DINs? Do the springs warp at all?

Had the same surgery in mid august. Just finished PT so I'm close to getting back out there. Hang in there homie!
2 great pow days now injured. Unsure of severity, scheduled appt with orthopedist but I have a hunch it's some kind of fracture in my shin. This must be how icarus felt when he flew too close to the sun. Everything I've waited all summer for is shot to shit. You guys fucking tear it up out there

ive had a 2ft pow day followed bay days of soft and chop these were wonderful days
had a couple 2 and 3” refresh days back home as well
couple slushy rain days to start the years training
def go hit 💯 days
been able to stay on slopes all day too now that I don’t have boots that hurt , off to the start of best season ever
Got 10 super sick days in, had a great time then two days before thanksgiving I tore my ACL,MCL, and meniscus. Soooooo, we're out here looking for some new hobbies and shit haha. That's how my seasons going
Just arrived in Japan. What a bastard it is too get around lol. Just had a sick buffet dinner with cold superdry, now going to hit the sauna and hopefully meet some hot birds there (it’ll probably just be old dudes there though) heading to rusutsu tomorrow, and hopefully getting my night skiing game on let’s go!!
It's NOT going good. I'm extremely angry. I was promised large amounts of snow when I moved to BC but every time it snows here it rains the next day and everything melts away. we were supposed to have snow like 3 weeks ago or more. I'm gonna end myself if I can't ski before the holidays, which will probably be the case. Fuck this stupid fucking place, fuck the stupid fucking mountains and fuck the stupid fucking weather.

I bruised the shit out of my heel biking so I'm not even too bummed about not being able to ski yet. Last week was the first week I could stand having my ski boot on.

Actually overcame a core muscle injury over the spring/summer/fall I’m 11 days slope no injuries , ate shit a few times , cursed my pivots in as lil as 6” of POW but injury free stoked as shit , progressed already past most my goals
pretty slow, Washington and BC are off to a slow start, local resort was blowing snow, then it got washed down the creek by rain. Snow levels around 4000 feet next week but still not low enough. This warm water patch in the pacific and global warming blows, might take up surfing, who knows. praying that NOAA is messing up their forecasts because right now its not getting any better
