This is probably more of a general backpacking/camping question, but it applies to AT. I just picked up a new beacon (Pieps Powder BT) and it runs on AAA batteries. For AT hut trips (and pretty much any time I'm outdoors for any extended period), I'm always carrying a headlamp. My existing headlamp uses AA batteries.
Anytime resupply isn't possible, I carry 1 set of spare batteries for devices, so in my current situation, I will need a set of AA and a set of AAA in my pack. So I'm wondering if it would be wise for me to pick up a AAA headlamp and just carry 1 set of spare AAA batteries, or am I overthinking this since lithium AA or AAA batteries weigh very little?
Thanks!
